A very large bronze sculpture by Robert Grieves (American, 20th Century) with provenance paperwork. Titled on the front of the base "Without A Blaze", limited edition 7/18. With medium bronze patina on the wood base, depicting a two horsemen and pair of horses climbing a rocky cliff. Inscribed on the side of the sculpture "Grieves 1980 7/18". This bronze sculpture is a powerful piece and commands a big attention indeed. The sculpture is in good condition, with a few broken branches on the trees and some areas of discoloration to the patina. The wood base is in very good condition, with minor age related wear and only a few scratches and scuffs. Provenance: Comes with paperwork and original letters, dating to the 1980s between the previous buyer and El Prado Gallery from Sedona, Arizona.
