Jan Loco, Warm Springs Apache, hammered sterling silver concho and leather belt with turquoise set buckle. Purchased directly from artist at the Wheelwright Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico approximately 15-20 years ago. As per Jan Loco, this is purportedly one of only three belts in this style she had ever made. Each of the 10 round silver conchos measures 2" in diameter, and is adjustable/ removable from belt. Buckle set with teardrop shaped turquoise and signed "Loco" with a star. Stamped "Sterling" on buckle. Belt measures 39" from end to end.
