Lot consists of: (A) World War II Japanese silk flag measuring 36" x 23". CONDITION: Scattered stains and small holes. Overall good. (B) Crudely made Japanese flag that was most likely made by a GI during the occupation of Japan. The flag is labeled "Japan" in the upper right corner and measures 18" x 13". CONDITION: Fraying at the edges, scattered small holes. Overall vey good. (C) Small Japanese scale. Overall good. (D) Japanese habaki in a wood and velvet case. CONDITION: Overall good. (E) Japanese Tanto blade which was most likely made as a souvenir for a GI. There are 4 characters which appear to be stamped and not hand cut. (F) 2 Type 4 last ditch fragmentation grenade made of terra cotta or porcelain materials. CONDITION: Both grenades exhibit small chips and stains. Overall good. (G) Period photograph depicting an Imperial Japanese officer. There is writing and wax paper on the reverse. CONDITION: Overall very good. (H) Framed reproduced photo of a Japanese soldier with rifle and Type 30 bayonet. CONDITION: Overall very good. (G) Boxed June 1943 dated Japanese 7.7 ammo on a stripper clip for a Japanese Type 92 machine gun. CONDITION: Overall very good. JLD
