1910, FRANCE: This automata features and Asian man hiding in an urn, drinking his cup of tea. Attributed to Roullet & Decamps. When activated, the music box plays, the man emerges from the urn, takes a sip of tea, and retreats back into the urn. Clockwork operation. The urn is composition, the man has a bisque head with glass eyes and the music box plays one tune. CONSIDERATIONS: The urn has great paint showing some light staining at the bottom edge. The man is in period clothes showing little wear, the operation of the automata is smooth and the music box has good tone quality.
Condition: (Very Good).
