1970, SWISS: Built by Paul Zwahlen, this musical automaton features a young man sitting on a stool playing his accordion. Operated by inserting 1 Franc, and the young man will play the accordion to an 8 track accompaniment. He opens and closes his eyes, fingers move on the accordion as it opens and closes. Lifelike features and entertaining action. CONSIDERATIONS: The overall piece is in very good condition. Very little wear to the wooden table and bench, with good color and light wear to the figures clothes. Working on 220 electricity, the automaton works, as well as the 8 track. A great piece of musical automata.
