1890, SWISS: A very demure Swiss music box of unknown manufacture. Playing four ayers (tunes) on an 11cm (4 - 1/4") cylinder. Rosewood cabinet with ebony accents, a painted lid, and with original tune card. CONSIDERATIONS: Showing an earlier restoration, the cabinet has little wear, the painted lid is slightly faded, and the finish shows great depth. The mechanics' are smooth and the tonal quality is surprisingly good for a box this small. A great example of Swiss workmanship in a small footprint.
