1910, FRANCE: A very whimsical pair of clowns, one on the others shoulders. The pair are nodders, and when wound both heads will nod. These displays were used in stores at the turn of the century to catch a passersby or customers attention. Showing original clothing, wood construction and glass eyes, mounted to a wood base. CONSIDERATIONS: The clothing is in remarkable condition given the age of the piece. Some light soiling, primarily to the lace accents. The painted figurines show little wear and the two nodders work for a long time on a single winding.

Condition: (Very Good).
