1900, FRANCE: Early French automata of a young Japanese girl serving tea. Model 39 by Lambert, head maker Jumeau. Bisque head and hands, very authentic looking clothing, tray with tea service on velvet covered music box. The young lady has a beautiful face with glass eyes, and motion includes raising the tea kettle and pouring into the tea cup with some head movements. CONSIDERATIONS: The young ladies clothes - though original - show some signs of use and fraying at the edges. Her wig appears original and her hair pulled to the top of her head is a great look. She is missing one ear ring. The music box plays well. A wonderful automata music box with a great look.
