One of Handel's finest and most desirable leaded glass lamps. The 24” shade features a hollyhock pattern with rich green background glass, with garlands of pink flowers and streaked green and yellow leaves. The shade is signed "Handel" on the inside ring and is in excellent condition, with just a small number of tight hairline cracks. The shade sits on a monumental, five-socket Handel base. The base is finished in a rich brown patina, and has a foliate pattern to the pedestal, and gooseneck style sockets. The base is in very good condition, with one of the five pulls missing and associated socket in off position, and very small area of loss of patina to pedestal. Signed "Handel" to underside.
