Lot consists of: (A) 1924 vintage Colt Army Special double action revolver chambered in .32-20 WCF. 5" blued round barrel with 2-line address and caliber designation. Half-moon front sight and frame notch rear. Standard swing-out 6-shot fluted cylinder. Grips are 2-piece checkered "COLT" composite grips. CONDITION: Fair. Traces of blued finish retained with majority turned to grey patina with some older cleaned oxidation throughout. Grips very having light wear and some minor marks. Bright bore having well-defined rifling and some light frosting. Mechanics are a little sticky. (B) Colt Official Police double action revolver chambered in .38 Colt shipped February 17, 1942 to the Procurement Division of Defense Supplies Corp. in Washington, DC as per the included factory letter. The Defense Supplies Corp. procured firearms for state militia troops, war effort security personal, and other law enforcement during the 2nd World War. Standard blued finish with round barrel stamped on top with 2-line address. Half-moon front sight and frame notch rear. 6-shot swing-out fluted cylinder and checkered walnut Colt medallion grips. CONDITION: Good retaining majority of factory-applied blued finish with wear from carrying and use. Grips show moderate wear with a few dings. Very fine bore and mechanics. BAS
