1883 vintage Colt Frontier Six Shooter single action revolver, serial number 96380. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .44 Winchester Centerfire with single line block Hartford, Connecticut barrel address, V-notch frame rear sight, and blade front. Left of barrel is marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" in an etched panel. Color case hardened frame and hammer. 1-piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Excellent, as professionally restored, with a large amount of the deep, high polish blue remaining with light handling marks throughout. Reapplied etched panel marking is easily legible. Grips are excellent and fit well with areas of wear near butt. No dragline present on cylinder. Bore is lightly frosted with sharp rifling. An attractive revolver. TON
