Colt Frontier Six Shooter single action revolver. Made 1901. 2-line address on the top of the barrel. "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" marked on the left side of the barrel. Patent dates are on the left side of the frame. Circled Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Matching serials on the frame, trigger guard, and butt. No visible number on the cylinder. Blade front sight with frame U-notch rear. Reapplied nickel finish on the metal components. Contemporary imitation ivory grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its reapplied finish with general wear and scratches. Grips have a few handling marks and scratches. Bore is frosted but retains very good overall rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
