Japanese Type 38 Carbine made at Nagoya Arsenal in Japan during World War II. 19" blued round barrel with protected inverted "V" front sight and rear graduated flip style sight. Blued receiver with unground chrysanthemum and model designation with dust shield and matching bolt and metal parts. Wood 2 piece stock with blued hardware and period leather sling. Comes with finger loop style bayonet with sheath made at Koishikawa arsenal, missing leather frog with steel sheath and period leather sling. CONDITION: 90% metal finish with light handling wear. Wood has traces of original arsenal finish with normal usage wear. Good bore and mechanics. Bayonet and leather are in good condition. DLM
