German Mauser "42" code P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol in 9mm Luger. Made 1940 as marked on the chamber. "42" marked on the toggle. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout. Standard blade front sight and V-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. "(Eagle) / 656" Waffenamts on the right side of the chamber. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original checkered plastic grips. Includes a blued steel body and "fxo" marked magazine with an "(Eagle) / 37" proof and a plastic bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with heavy finish loss and some freckles of surface rust. Grips have a few handling marks. Bore has some light frosting but remains strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA
