Pre-war Mauser "K" date Luger semi-automatic pistol with holster. Made 1934, noted by a "K" on the chamber. "S/42" on the chamber, with the "S" in gothic script. Gothic "S" proofs are present on most parts as well. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the checkered wood grips. "O/37" proofs on the right side of the chamber. Standard blade front sight and V-notch rear. Factory blued and straw finishes on the metal components. Includes a nonmatching (but numbered), Haenel production, aluminum bottom magazine with a nickel body. Magazine has pre-war proofs on the bottom and is numbered "2". Includes an "A.FISCHER/BERLINC.2" marked brown leather police style holster. Holster is dated "1934" and has a serial number, "3221" marked on the back. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with wear and finish loss. Straw finish is approximately 50%. Grips have light wear. Bore is lightly frosted but retains strong rifling. Mechanically fine. it should be noted that the magazine does not lock in properly and does not allow the hold open to function. Magazine has light finish wear. Holster is very good overall, having finish wear and some scratches. Stitching remains tight. JWA
