Early Winchester Model 1917 Enfield marked with the 5-pointed star in circle indicating early incompatibility problems overseas. Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1917, fitted with 26" round barrel dated "10-17" with "W" marking. Winchester receiver, bolt, stock and front barrel band. Walnut Winchester full military stock with correct hardware. Comes with 1917 dated Remington bayonet with green scabbard and British style woven tan sling. CONDITION: 80% original metal finish. 80% original wood finish. Nice correct Winchester 1917 with good bore and mechanics. DLM
