German Mauser "S/42" Code P.08 Luger semi automatic pistol. Made 1939 as dated on the chamber. "S/42" Mauser code marked on the toggle. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the checkered wood grips. "(Eagle) / 63" Waffenamts on the right side of the chamber. Blade front sight with v-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Numbered but not matching, "SCHMEISSER" marked Haenel magazine with aluminum base. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear. Grips have light wear as well. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine, but magazine is very tight. Magazine has light wear. JWA
