German G. 33/40 Mountain rifle made in 1941 at Waffenwerke Brunn in Brno, Czechoslovakia. 20" round 7.9mm caliber barrel with hooded integral blade front sight and rear graduated flip sight. Blued receiver with "DOT" code and dated "1941" with correct turned down hollow knob bolt with 3-position military safety. Walnut full military stock with blued hardware and "(Eagle) / Waa63" waffenamts and typical steel toeplate. Comes with original style sling and brown bakelite handled bayonet in matching scabbard with leather frog. CONDITION: 80% original metal finish with wood having used but not abused natural look with light handling marks. No visible import marks. Bayonet looks in unused condition but suffers from some light surface pitting. Good bore and mechanics and original cleaning rod. A nice rifle. DLM
