Pre-war Mauser C96 Commercial semi-automatic pistol with shoulder stock/holster. Standard company address on the right side of the frame. There is a "MAUSER" banner logo on the top of the chamber. Commercial "(Crown) / U" proofs on the left side of the chamber. No import/export marks found. Matching serials on the visible numbered parts. Standard round barrel with blade front sight and rear tangent adjustable to 1,000 meters. Factory blued finish. Straw finish on the trigger, with a high polish blue on the safety, extractor, and rear sight elevation adjustment. Checkered hard rubber grips, being hand-numbered to the gun. Includes a period wooden shoulder stock holster, with a "MAUSER" banner on the left slide. Leather stock harness is a reproduction. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with spots of finish loss and a few freckles of surface rust. Straw and high polish finish is about 70%. Grips have light finish wear and discoloration. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine but internals have heavy storage grease, causing the slide to move slowly. Holster has handling marks and scratches, and some light surface rust on the metal components. Stock harness has some scratches. JWA
