Lot consists of: (A) Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman double action revolver. Made 1978. "SMITH & WESSON" marked on the left side of the barrel, with caliber markings on the left. Company trademark and address on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the butt and frame. 6-shot fluted cylinder. Round steel barrel with full solid rib. Ramped blade front sight with adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Square butt frame. Case colored serrated trigger and hammer. Checkered factory target grips with "S&W" medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light edge wear. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. Light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 10-7 double action revolver. Made 1981. "SMITH & WESSON" marked on the left side of the barrel, with the caliber marked on the right. Company address on the right and trademark on the right. Round, pinned barrel with blade front sight and U-notch rear. 6-shot fluted cylinder. Factory nickel finish on the metal components. Round butt frame. Case colored serrated trigger and spurred hammer. Includes later production imitation ivory grips with silver monogram medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent, with a light chip on the back of the right panel. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lock up. Light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
