Manufactured in 1974. One of Colt's finest double action revolvers. 2 pin ramp front sight and factory adjustable rear sight. Bright nickel gun with a satin nickel rib. Full underlug barrel with a 6-shot fluted swing-out cylinder. Aftermarket 2-piece target grip panels. They are right-handed with a thumb rest. 1-line Colt address on right side of the barrel and the "PYTHON TARGET" caliber stamping on the left side of the barrel. Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. This gun has been converted from a .357 Magnum to a .41 Magnum. It is reported that these guns were converted by a skilled gunsmith in the 1980's. CONDITION: All the markings are crisp. The gun retains 95% of the non-original applied nickel finish. There are a few scratches and handling marks scattered across the gun. The gun locks up tight and indexes fine. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Rubber grips are mint. REW
