Left side of slide bears "P.38" and "ac / 42" followed by the serial number, with the right bearing 2 Walther "(Eagle) / 359" waffenamts on either side of an eagle firing proof. "(Eagle) / 359" waffenamts are also present on the left side of the frame and barrel, as well as on the spine of the magazine. Metal components exhibit a dull blue finish and frame is mounted with 2-piece brown pressed resin grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block.
