Standard configuration P.38 manufactured at the Walther factory in 1944. Left side of slide is stamped "P.38" followed by the serial number and "ac 44", with the right side bearing 2 Walther "(Eagle) / 359" waffenamts on either side of an eagle firing proof. Metal components are salt blued, with the frame retaining a plum color and being mounted with brown 2-piece pressed resin grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, and barrel. Complete with a "bla/1944" marked leather holster. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some spots of wear and some scattered handling marks overall. Mirror bore exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. Holster shows wear from use and some age-related cracking overall, as well as a small hole cut through the bottom.
