Model 1900 Luger manufactured by DWM under contract for Switzerland. Receiver bears the Swiss cross within a sunburst, with Swiss proofs on the left hand side. Toggle bears the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Major metal components are rust blued, with some smaller components being strawed and nitre blued. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut grips. Magazine retains proper wood bottom magazine with discs. All numbers are matching, with the exception of the firing pin and magazine, which are appropriately unnumbered. Pistol is accompanied by a proper Swiss Model 1900 leather holster manufactured by J. Scheidegger Bern in 1917. Exterior of holster flap bears a lightly scribed name, with the interior bearing a matching handwritten name in ink. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their Swiss arsenal applied blue finish, showing some minor handling marks overall. Strawed components are excellent. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. Holster shows usual wear but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. An extremely attractive example of a Model 1900 Swiss contract Luger that falls within the Military contract range. MLW
