Hi-Power manufactured by Fabrique Nationale while under German occupation. Left side of slide bears usual manufacturing stampings as well as an FN "(Eagle) / WaA140" waffenamt and eagle firing proof, which are also present on the frame and barrel. Metal components exhibit a dull blue finish and frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, and barrel. Complete with a 1952 dated leather holster manufactured by Josef Moll. Interior of flap exhibits a period applied label that bears the surname "Zemke" as well as the handwritten number s"47386". CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning overall, with some scattered marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting a couple spots of light oxidation and retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips show some nicks to the checkered and some scattered handling marks. Holster shows some wear from use but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
