Type 14 Nambu manufactured at the Toriimatsu arsenal in October of 1944. Left side of frame bears stampings stipulating the model designation, with the right side bearing the manufacturer symbols and serial number above the date code "19.10". Metal components are salt blued and frame is mounted with 2-piece serrated wood grips. All numbers are matching, including the grips and magazine. Pistol is accompanied by a rubberized canvas clamshell holster that is handwritten "CHARLING" in felt pen and contains a cleaning rod. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some minor areas of wear overall. Mirror bore with strong rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Holster is very good, with the flap possibly being resewn at one point. MLW
