Mauser "S/42" code P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol with holster. Made 1938 as marked on the top of the chamber. "S/42" marked on the toggle, indicating Mauser production. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the wood grips. "(Eagle) / 63" Waffenamt on the right side of the chamber. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Checkered wood grips. Blued steel magazine with a numbered (not matching) aluminum bottom magazine, with an "(Eagle) / 63" Waffenamt on the base. Includes a "Karl Barth / Waldbrol" marked black leather shell holster, dated 1938, with an "(Eagle) / WaA145" Waffenamt on the back. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear. Grips have a few handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. Holster has light wear, scratches and a few handling marks. Tight stitching. JWA
