Made 1915. 2-line company address and patent dates on the left side of the frame. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the slide. “VP” on the left side of the trigger guard. This gun has faint British London commercial proofs on the barrel, frame and slide. Original half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Factory high polish finish. Case colored hammer. Lanyard stud and ring are present (looks to be a period replacement). Checkered brown hard rubber grips. Includes an un-marked blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and some scattered patina on the left side of the frame. Grips are near excellent with a few scattered handling marks. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Magazine finish has formed a brown patina. Mechanically fine. JWA
