German Mauser 42 code P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol with holster. Made "1940", as marked on the chamber, with "42" marked on the toggle. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the grips. "(Eagle) / 655" proofs on the right side of the chamber, and on the grips. Blade front sight and V-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Checkered wood grips. Blued body, "122" marked magazine with "(Eagle) / 37" proofs, and a mismatched aluminum bottom. Includes a "G.PASSIER&SOHN/HANNOVER/1940" marked black leather holster. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with some areas of brown patina forming. Grips have light wear. Bore has light frosting, with strong rifling retained. Mechanically fine. Magazine has finish wear and handling marks on the base plate. Holster is very good overall, with light crazing on the shell.
