Manufactured in 1853. This gun is engraved in a floral pattern with a punch dot background. There is a dog's head engraved on both sides of the hammer. The loading lever, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, wedge and the cylinder have all matching numbers. The barrel assembly is unnumbered and is a replacement. There is no engraving on the barrel. The cylinder scene is present. Vintage single piece ivory grip that has a repair to the left side. CONDITION: Barrel and cylinder are a brown patina. The grips have a great look and are probably original to the gun. Good bore with just a bit of frosting in the lands and grooves. REW

CORRECTION: The status of this revolver is Antique, not Curio & Relic.
