German occupation marked FN Hi-Power semi-automatic pistol. Later War gun, being a fixed u-notch sight and lacking a slot for a shoulder stock. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. No import marks found. Matching serials on the frame, barrel, and slide. "(Eagle) / WaA140" Waffenamts on the frame and slide, in addition to the front of the slide. Original blued finish and checkered wood grips. Magazine is correct wartime production blued steel with a faint Waffenamt on the spine. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear. Grips have a few handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine, with the magazine safety functioning as it should. Magazine has light finish wear. JWA
