Vz.38 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by CZ in 1939. The left side of the slide bears the manufacturer information as well as the serial number, which is also present just below on the frame. The right side of the frame bears the CZ logo followed by "E7", a Czech lion, proof and "39". Czech lion proof is also present on the top of the slide and barrel. Major metal components are blued, with the hammer and trigger being strawed. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece checkered brown bakelite CZ wrap around grip. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, as well as the interior of the side plate. Pistol is accompanied by a spare sideplate, trigger, and pin. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some spots of edge wear and some scattered handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grip shows a few minor handling marks, but is otherwise fine. MLW
