Lot consist of: (A) Colt Woodsman Match Target semi automatic pistol. "Bullseye" model made 1941. "MATCH TARGET" marked with the traditional Bullseye logo marked in between. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the chamber. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. This gun has an added Kings Super Target vent rib, front blade sight, and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Aftermarket checkered wood target grips with thumb rest on the left panel. Added trigger shoe. Includes an original blued steel magazine, with factory markings on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear. The grips are badly cracked and missing 2 large chunks off the bottom rear. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. (B) Colt Woodsman Match Target semi automatic pistol. Bullseye model made 1941. "MATCH TARGET" marked, with the traditional Bullseye logo marked in between. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the chamber, with a very faint Crossed Cannons arsenal stamp underneath. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. 2 line company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Factory blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish. Original brown checkered plastic grips with Colt logos. Includes an original blued steel magazine with factory markings on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with wear and scattered areas of finish loss. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
