Colt Woodsman Match Target semi-automatic pistol with box. Made 1952. 2 line company address and patent dates on the left side of the barrel. Rampant Colt pony over "MATCH TARGET" on the left side of the chamber. Standard marking on the left side of the slide. Small "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Original heavy barrel with factory blade front and u-notch rear sights. Original blued finish on the metal components. Factory checkered plastic grips. Original blued steel magazine marked "COLT/CAL .22L.R." on the bottom. Includes an original brown flat board box, extra plastic back straps, and original test target numbered to the gun. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with mild wear and handling marks. Grips have wear and are faded to an almost white color. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light finish wear. Box is fair with heavy edge wear and water damage. The corners are ripped. JWA
