Model PP manufactured by Walther towards the end of World War II. Left side of the slide and frame bear only a single "(Eagle) / 359" Waffenamt. Right side of slide bears an "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof, followed by the serial number above Walther's "ac" code. "(Eagle) / N" nitro proofs are also present on the right side of the chamber as well as on the barrel towards the muzzle. Right side of magazine bears a "W". Metal components retain a dull blue military finish and frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood Walther banner grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of high edge wear, some thinning, as well as some scattered handling marks overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting scattered spots of oxidation and good rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing and minor handling marks overall, but are otherwise fine. MLW
