Lot consists of: (A) Colt Woodsman semi-automatic pistol. Made 1934. Standard company address and patent dates on the left side of the barrel. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the chamber. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. "VP" marked on the left side of the trigger guard. This gun was upgraded with a barrel weight, ramped blade front blade, and rear U-notch sight. Factory blued finish and aftermarket checkered wood grips, with thumb rest on the left panel. Includes an original blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with heavy wear and spots of finish loss. Grips have handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Magazine has light wear. (B) Colt Woodsman semi-automatic pistol. Made 1940. Standard company address and patent dates on the left side of the barrel. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the chamber. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. "VP" marked on the left side of the trigger guard. This gun was upgraded with a King barrel weight, ramped blade front sight, and U-notch rear. Factory blued finish and checkered wood grips. Includes a later production blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with heavy finish wear. Grips have light wear. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has finish wear. JWA
