Smith & Wesson K-22 Outdoorsman double action revolver with box. This is a 1st Model gun, made 1931-40. 2-line company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. Right side is marked "22 LONG RIFLE CTG", with the left marked "SMITH & WESSON". Company trademark and "MADE IN U.S.A." on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the butt, cylinder, right grip panel, and barrel. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and crane. Blade front sight with adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger and spurred hammer. Original checkered wood grips with silver medallions. Includes an original red "picture" box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% or more of its original finish with light handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. There is a very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent overall, with light edge and corner wear. JWA
