Commercial German DWM 1908 Commercial Luger semi-automatic pistol. Made circa 1908-1909 at the DWM factory. The chamber is correctly blank. "DWM" in script on the toggle. No import or export marks found. Matching serials on all the visible numbered parts. Firing pin is not numbered. Commercial proofs on the left side of the chamber and barrel. Standard blade front sight and V-notch rear. Blue finish being mostly factory, with some touch-up in places. Straw finish is original. Original oil-finished, checkered wood grips are not numbered but have inspector proofs on the inside. Includes a wood bottom, nickel body magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its finish with light edge wear. Straw finish is about 85%. There are some scratches around the takedown lever. Grips are excellent with light wear. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA
