Made 1915. 2 line company address and patent dates on the left side of the slide. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the slide, behind the slide serrations. Half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Factory nickel finish, with the trigger, rear sight, and pins being a polished blued finish. Case colored hammer. Both grip panels are original, but are different colors, with the left being black, and the right being brown. Includes 1 original nickel finished magazine, marked "CAL. 38/COLT" on the bottom. Includes a non fitting brown leather holster marked in ink "Law & Order/Boston 1917" and "Bugler A.L. Porters/Lenox". CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish, with some light surface rust being present on the trigger. Some oxidation on the rear sight. Grips have light wear, and the right panel is missing a chip out of the bottom. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. Holster has wear and crazing. JWA
