Pre-war German Mauser S/42 code P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol. Made "1936" as marked on the chamber. "S/42" marked toggle. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the wood grips."(Eagle) / 63" proofs on the right side of the chamber. Standard blade front sight and V-notch rear. Factory blued and straw finishes. Checkered wood grips with a light oil finish. "122" marked blued steel magazine with "(Eagle) / 37" proofs and a matching number aluminum bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with lights wear. Straw remains at approximately 80% as well. Grips are excellent with light wear. Bore is shiny with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light finish wear. JWA
