Lot consists of: (A) Colt Woodsman semi-automatic pistol. Made 1942. Standard company address and patent dates on the left side of the barrel. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the chamber. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. "VP" marked on the left side of the trigger guard. This gun was upgraded with a King vent rib and barrel weight. Blade front sight with U-notch rear. Factory blued finish and aftermarket checkered wood grips. Includes an original blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with general wear. Grips have handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. (B) Colt Woodsman semi-automatic pistol. Made 1936. Standard company address and patent dates on the left side of the barrel. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the chamber. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. "VP" marked on the left side of the trigger guard. This gun was upgraded with a King barrel weight. Blade front sight with U-notch rear. Factory blued finish and aftermarket checkered wood grips. Includes an original 2-toned blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with heavy finish wear and slide. Grips have handling marks, dents, and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
