Circa 1913. 5 - 1/2" barrel with blade front sight, 1000 meter tangent adjustable rear sight. "WAFFENFABRIK" / "MAUSER" / "OBERNORDF A/N" proof over chamber with serial number on offset flat, "(Crown) / U" proof on left flat. Right side of frame with "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER / OBERNDORF A. NECKAR". Full or partial numbers observed on top of bolt, bolt stop, frame, subframe, magazine follower, sear link, locking block, and both grips. Underside of barrel with early Mauser proof. Blued trigger. Non rotatable lanyard loop. Fired blued small parts. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining the vast majority of the factory blued finish with some spots of fine oxidation throughout. Fire bluing has some minor expected losses. Appropriate distension around Crown proof from application. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent, bright and shiny with some very minor frosting in a few grooves. EMW
