Set is in original blue metal box, original, complete and in good condition. The bottom cardboard insert is a high-quality reproduction. This set was made after Gilbert purchased the American Flyer electric train company, the same year they decided to stop making the large Hudson locomotive and tender and replaced it with an O-gauge American Flyer engine. Very intricate set, showing a No. 420 O-gauge American Flyer engine, manual, lot of parts, marked "World's Champion 10 - 1/2 Electric Train Set". Extremely nice set.
