Round, rifled barrel with flat top rib marked "N. CURRY & BRo / SAN FRANCo CALA / AGENTS", "DERINGER / PHILADELA" over breech, with offset "P" with wings on breech. Notch and post sights, with German silver front sight. Normal German silver furniture including wrist shield, key escutcheon, and trigger guard with pineapple finial, lightly engraved with scroll throughout. Marked "16" on rear of trigger guard. Teardrop German silver inlay at tip of birdshead with cap trap. Back action percussion lock with dolphin form hammer, engraved en suite. CONDITION: Very good, barrel with much browning and some silvering to sharp edges and muzzle. Legends are crisp. Stock is very good with some minor bumps and pressure marks from handling and age, with a few heads in the checkering abraded. Mechanically functional, bore is very good with strong rifling. EMW
