Ca. 1914. This very rare doll is a copy of the Kestner bisque mold #243. It is the exact doll pictured on page 167 of Ursula Mertz’s Encyclopedia of Composition Dolls. Composition head with yellow tint, molded dark eyes, chubby cheeks, open mouth with upper teeth, cloth body, composition hands, all original outfit with Effanbee label.
Condition: (Excellent).
