Hi-Power manufactured by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium while under German occupation. Left side of slide bears usual manufacturer roll stampings with the addition of an eagle firing proof and eagle/140 waffenamt, which are also present on the left side of the frame. Major metal components are blued and frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut grips. Rear tangent sight is graduated from 50-500 meters. Pistol is accompanied by brown leather holster marked "clg44". CONDITION: Very fine, with metal components retaining nearly all of their blue finish, exhibiting a few minor superficial marks from handling and storage. Bore is bright, exhibiting light oxidation and good rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. Holster shows some wear from use, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
