Baker Model 1897 external hammer side by side shotgun made by the Baker Gun Company circa 1900. Twist steel 30" Modified and Modified choked barrels with bead front sight, extractors, and matted full rib. Case hardened line engraved action with blued hammers, fish tail lever, and double triggers. Action has light owner social security numbers engraved on the bottom of frame. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with Baker hard rubber buttplate with matching checkered splinter forearm with ebony inlay. CONDITION: 90% original barrel finish with action having traces of case turning a plum patina. Good bores and tight mechanics. DLM
