W & C Scott & Son external hammer side by side shotgun made in London, England circa 1890. 30" laminated steel barrels with W&C Scott address on smooth concave rib with bead sight. Comes with paper stating that gun was fit with 28 Ga tubes by Louis Rotelli along with some minor repair work to the hammers and firing pins. Case hardened scroll engraved frame with double triggers and large size trigger guard. English walnut checkered straight grip stock with horn buttplate and German silver vanity shield. Matching checkered pinned forearm splinter forearm. CONDITION: 90% of a total refinish on barrel with action fading to a silvery patina. Wood has been cleaned with checkering retraced with light handling marks. Good bores and mechanics. A nice job of making a gun usable in the modern world. DLM
