German World War II Waffen SS Panzer M43 cap with a size stamp of "57". Black wool body exhibits only very light wear, and the entire pull down flap has the correct tape reinforcement present. Flap is secured by 2 black buttons which are original to the cap. The black Bevo SS trapezoid is correctly machine sewn to the cap in the "zip and flip" manner where the top is sewn on, and then flipped down for the remaining edges to be straight line stitched. The trapezoid has light soiling with a couple areas of damage to the base fabric (right side and lower edge). Gray HBT lining is intact with light soiling, and the size stamping in black ink. The 2 flap pulldowns are made from the same HBT fabric. The cardboard bill liner is intact, and is covered by black wool on both sides. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
