Rare Belgian FN (Fabrique Nationale) made 4x28 (4 power with 28mm objective lens) military issue scope marked "FN 1731" retaining 95+% of its black finish with light wear, a 1" scrape on the left side, with functional rear focus, windage, and elevation (marked 1-6 for 100s of meters) adjustment turrets. Optics are clear with a 3-point military reticle, with windage/ target lead graduations on the 2 horizontal lines. Rubber lens protector bodies are mounted on each end, but the lens flap is only present on the objective lens. Scope is mounted on an aluminum base, which is mounted to a steel top cover for a FN-FAL assault rifle. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
